在这部悲伤故事的美好结局动画/短片片中,一个小女孩有着天生异于常人的体质，她的心跳声音特别猛烈，足以震动她所处的整个环境，于是，在她随意走在路上时，都会受到路人侧目，夜深人静的晚上，还有人被她剧烈的心跳声吵到，邻居也纷纷提出愤怒抗议，而她毫无办法制止这一切，只有用被单使劲裹住自己。她孤独地面对世界上的一切，整日从窗户俯瞰街上人们普通而琐碎的生活，烦恼自己因为古怪而和这个世界格格不入，只有落在窗台的小鸟愿意亲近她，还肯从她手中啄食食物。一日，在彻底清洗自己之后，她跳出了窗子，背上长出翅膀，加入小鸟的飞行队伍。

A girl has a heart that beats faster than normal and so loudly that it disturbs the neighbors and their dogs. They complain, and she explains that she has a bird's heart and that she thinks she's a bird trapped in a girl's body. They scoff and she flees, but she later calms down and returns home. As time passes the neighbors get used to the noise and eventually forget about it. And as everyone goes about their routine lives, the girl accepts her differences and becomes comfortable with herself, leading to an unusual transformation, and leaving the neighbors and their dogs to envy her.
