In the summer of 2015, filmmaker Ayako Imamura declared that she would do a documentary film of herself riding a bicycle across the length of Japan. The title of the film would be Start Line. She believed that she had to do this documentary film as a way to confront head on some things she had been avoiding, that is she had to do this in order to move on.
