Fifties of last century, leprosy was prevalent in Guangnan County, Yunnan Province. At that time due to poor medical conditions, patient treatment are not very good, most were expelled from the village. In order to avoid the spread of the disease, the local government moved the patients to Luosongdi village in Guangnan County to treat , and isolated. Eighties, the village has not contagious patient, then lift the quarantine. I happened to know this history and felt curious about the special experience of the recovered villagers and their now days living conditions. In January 2015, I and a few friends decided to go off the Luosongdi Village to further understanding. After filming, I found most of Leprosy rehabilitee in the village are still in a state of inferiority and closed. More often, they are silent, the outsiders is hard to know about their inner thoughts and feeling, They are more willing to stay in this mountain-surrounded village. For the lepers, the deformity of face and the pain of body are more than outside people's prejudices. Their most desires probably are to reunion with the family members who live far away from homes.
