There the granddaughter opens her eyes for the first time to the domestic workers: the benevolent spirits who bring up the children, cook the meals and live under the same roof as familes for years and yet remain mostly unseen. Remedios, Guadalupe and Dolores - we find out how they live, where they come from and what they have experienced. And naturally we ask ourselves why they have not been asked these questions long before.
