在这部寂静的房子剧情/恐怖片中,在一个阴霾的日子里，劳拉（佛伦西亚•克鲁琪 Florencia Colucci 饰）随同父亲威尔逊（古斯塔沃•阿隆索 Gustavo Alonso 饰）来到某个乡间旧宅。旧宅的主人内斯特（阿贝尔•特里帕尔迪 Abel Tripaldi 饰）决定搬离偏僻乡村，前往更加繁华的城里居住。为此他打算将所有房产整修一翻后出售，威尔逊父女便是他请来的工人。夜幕降临，奔波了一天的父女在漆黑的旧宅内歇息，这是阁楼上却传来阵阵吵闹声。劳拉试图起身探明原因，可是不久后竟发现父亲倒在血泊之中。这座古旧的房子内，似乎隐藏着不为人知的黑暗秘密……
本片根据真实事件改编，全片由一个长镜头拍摄完成。
The plot is based on a true story that happened in the late '40s in a small village in Uruguay. The film focuses on Laura, who, second by second, intends to leave a house, which hides an obscure secret, unharmed. Laura and her father Wilson settle down in a cottage they have to renew since its owner will soon put the house up for sale. They will spend the night there and repair the following morning. Everything seems to go smoothly until Laura hears a sound that comes from outside and gets louder and louder on the upper floor of the house. Wilson goes up to see what is going on while she remains downstairs on her own, waiting for her father to come down.
