"'71" scribe Gregory Burke penned the project following McCullin's journey from a poverty-stricken childhood in wartime London to becoming one of the most famous war photojournalists in Vietnam, Cambodia, Biafra and Uganda. Hardy, Dean Baker, Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner will produce. Hardy is currently shooting Chris Nolan's "Dunkirk" and will be seen later this year in the TV series "Taboo".
