Brenda, Laura, Ruben and Willem meet each other at an uneasy therapy session. The unconventional therapist (Pamela Tevis) tells them they only have 48 minutes left to live. Looking back at their lives, they start making choices they never dared before.
15 year old Laura (Luca Hollestelle) is deeply in love with the mysterious Tom. It is true love. When Tom gets into danger she has to decide how far she will go to save her love.
Willem (Rogier in t Hout) , an elderly man, lost his best friend. We he gets his computer, an email arrives stating a disaster will happen when the message is not send on. Overwhelmed with grief and fear Willem decides to ends his life. With fatal consequences for his surroundings.
