在这部浓汤歌剧喜剧片中,琉依（坂井真纪 饰）的母亲在她刚刚出生后没多久就过世了，之后，琉依一直是由姨妈藤子（加贺真理子 饰）抚养长大的，这一晃就是三十年过去。某一日，年近花甲的藤子竟然因为坠入了情网之中，决定离家出走追求真爱，就这样，琉依被一个人丢在了家里，开始学习如何独自生活。
紧接着，一个名为田中十二夫（藤龙也 饰）的老头没打招呼就大摇大摆的走进了琉依家的院子开始画画，虽然他的举动很无理，但十二夫带来的便当却打动了琉依的胃。在餐会上，琉依邂逅了名叫康介（西岛隆弘 饰）的男子，哪知道在误打误撞之中，康介竟然住进了琉依家里。
Rui is now in her thirties. She is a librarian and deals with idiosyncratic patrons. She lost her mother in one way and her father in another way and was raised by an aunt instead. In a surprise development she finds out that her aunt is not only getting married now, but also she is relocating. There is a hole in her life now, which makes her wonder how her life and days will progress. Life is full of surprises and twists however. She is about to find this out.
