In the early months of 2003 tucked on the mountains between the Iraq / Afghanistan lives Parvaneh (Mojan Nourbakhsh) a young Iranian girl and her goat farming Uncle Amir (Bahram Khosraviani). The United States has launched air strikes in the Mountains where suspected terrorists are hiding. After an all night firefight the gunfire stops but someone is left behind. Parvaneh comes across a shot down Fighter Pilot and makes the decision to help this person out. Ultimately though her decision comes with unforeseen consequences.
