A morning like every other finds an elderly couple getting on with their daily routine. The loss of youth, social and professional activity intensifies the old man's obsessions and he is found desperately trying to find meaning in his life. The extreme lack of communication between them, the old man's ignorance and his fixation with «making money», takes him through the day without being touched by the loneliness of his wife.
