宰京硬着头皮到了爷爷制定的偏远山沟学校上学，他却千方百计使学校开除他，这样对于他取得遗产便轻易了许多。他跟学校出名的霸王明植打架，学校并没有开除他，令他想不到的是明植一家对他十分热情。接着他想贿赂校长，却被校长训斥一顿。无奈之下他只好乖乖读书。
