The Queen of roses returns to her former state and the bee is grieved at the loss of her companion and breathes the perfume from the beautiful roses and falls asleep in a vine-clad dell. A spider weaves a web over her and makes her his prisoner, but a swarm of bees soon appear on the scene and liberate their Queen.
