This film is a true-to-life style narrative, utilizing natural lighting effects, and free camera motion to tell the story of a 13 year old girl whose parents have long ago left for the city in search of greater wealth. Having been left to face the difficulties of the village life without her parents, Bao Bao soon becomes enamored with the idea of city life. Despite the hardships she will face along the way, Bao Bao steels herself for the journey ahead, hoping that through friendship and with a little determination she can make her way to the city and the promises she sees there.
